Hi all,
Its been a really busy day, yesterday (28th) we did a load carry to our intermediate stash at what we are calling C0.5.
Myself, our happy HAP Taqui, Malte and Olivier all went up. Snow conditions were OK, better than we expected. Two of the French members, Denis Charrier, and Pierre Wolter climbed through to Camp 01, which is chocka block full of tents from other expeditions, put their skis on, and skied down!
We start in earnest tomorrow - with the plan being that Amanda, Malte, Mike Farris, myself and Haruki Inokuchi will climb up to C0.5 and sleep there. So we are underway, kind of. We are going to have to work out space issues or find alternative routes around and near c1, or maybe we will arrange to bunny hop thru others tents, But there is no doubt it is certainly cramped up there.
