Update K2 Base camp: We have reached BC at 8.00 yesterday. The weather has been awesome. When I tried to send emails in the evening, my hard drive broke. Today I went to the italians and they will organize a new drive for me. It should arrive within 10 days, until then my dispatches will be short and seldom. Tomorrow my new Thuraya phone should arrive, at least some of my technical equipment should be working then.
