Everest north side: DCXP and Project-Himalaya teams on the SUMMIT
"Mark
summited at 4:56am in time for dawn on the summit and set a blistering pace
of only 4hrs 51minutes," Duncan reported. "David Chiew and Jacko called in
from the summit at 5:46am. Together with them was our sirdat Namgia (Namgyal),
summiting for the second time this year. In addition, each climber was with
a climbing Sherpa: Densa Bhote, Karmi Rita Sherpa and Pasang Tarki Sherpa."

"Mark, Jacko and David are on the roof of the world right now - no clouds,
no wind on the summit," reported Duncan Chessell from the North Col earlier
today. On a latter update, Chessell confirmed Project Himalaya's leader Jamie
McGuinness had also topped-out together with members Kirsti and Kevin. An
Indian climber has reportedly reached the summit as well.
DCXP team members Mark Sheen, Rob Jackson and David Chiew had departed
from High Camp shortly after midnight, in great weather conditions. "Mark
summited at 4:56am in time for dawn on the summit and set a blistering pace
of only 4hrs 51minutes," Duncan reported.
Indian Babu, Jamie, Kirsti and Keving following
"Indian Babu seems to have done well and followed our team to the top
also, pretty good effort for someone on their own with limited experience."
As Duncan's men summited, Project-Himalaya's team members were at the
Second Step, with Gavin having turned back shortly before. Jamie, Kirsti
and Kevin checked in from the top at 8:30 am, reporting they were heading
back down, since winds were progressively picking up.

Going down
This is Jamie McGuinness third Everest summit, and Namgia (Namgyal) Sherpa's fourth.
According to Duncan's latest update, Mark was already back in the North
Col; JAcko and David were about an hour from C3, and Jamie's member Gavin
was in C3 waiting for his mates to return from the top.
Project-Himalaya team members are leader Jamie McGuinnes, Kirsti Samson,
Gavin Attwood and Kevin Cherilla. DCXP’s team members currently attempting
the summit are leader Duncan Chessell, Robert “Jacko” Jackson, David Chiew
and Mark Sheen. Both teams count on high-altitude Sherpas and supplementary
O2 support.
